[-] frame based webpage
« on: April 05, 2009, 09:14:38 AM »

I'm designing a website for a gallery of artists.  I would like each artist to have their own editable page of thumbnails and a frame on the same page that will load a larger image when the thumbnail is clicked.
Can I use SnippetMasterPro for edits within frames?
Will the SMP webpage editor allow the individual artist to swap both the thumbnail and the linked larger image?
Do you have a suggestion for a webpage design that would work best with thumbnails and linked llarger images editable with SnippetMasterPro?
Thank you, Doug

Hello,

Snippetmaster can be used to edit any HTML page, regardless of whether it's in a frameset or not.   However, it can't actually edit the frameset itself...

For a design.. my personal preference is to have a "row" of thumbnailed images at the top of the page, and then click on each one will load the image into the bottom part of the page. This makes the most "sense" and seems to be simple for the visitor to understand and use.

I hope that helps?
