No editable text shown

When I load my "Snippets" file from the drop down menu, I do not see any text.  If I load "Whole File" I can see everything. I created a test file: http://www.edgrep.com/html/copper2.htm
I does not matter if I log in as Admin or a basic user.

I just read an old post from 2006 concerning Internet Explorer causing issues so I tried Firefox and it is working. I am using SnippetMaster 2.2.2 Lite.
Any ideas on Internet Explorer?

There should be no difference between IE and Firefox for this.

Im having the same issues! working in firefox.. and showing no editable copy in IE8.. showing the snippet titles in the "select a file" page.  Same issue for Admin / Power / Regular login..

Im very happy to report I have found the answer to this problem for me! - try it as it may help you?

I have made a new installation of snippet on another site - and hey presto no problems with IE8.

So I have gone methodically thru all the admin panel settings on my broken one.

And found it!

The cause of this error in IE8 can be found under the "Editor Groups" tab.

"Default Editor Height" - this can NOT be set to a percentage! IE does not like using % for heights.  So I have changed it from 100% to 400 and now everything works fine.  All of my text boxs are now open white boxs with text in them instead of flat grey lines.

hope this helps someone else as i have seen quite a few posts with people over the years complaining of this issue.
