I installed Snippetmaster once with no troubles on a shared host. Now I'm trying to install it on a couple of other domains, and I consistently get this error. When I start the autoinstaller, it throws up these messages at the top of the page:
Warning: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/mechanic/public_html/edit/autoinstaller.php on line 2
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mechanic/public_html/edit/autoinstaller.php:2) in /home/mechanic/public_html/edit/autoinstaller.php on line 2
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/mechanic/public_html/edit/autoinstaller.php:2) in /home/mechanic/public_html/edit/autoinstaller.php on line 2
But it still has the normal form to log in via FTP, which seems to work. When I enter the FTP information, no matter if it's passive or not, it then appears to log in just fine. It shows the top-level directory correctly, and asks me to navigate to the install folder. Trying to drill down to any of the next folders produces this error:
Please navigate through the folders below and find your SnippetMaster program folder. (Find the folder where this Auto-Installer is located.)
The Install Now! button will become enabled once you have selected the correct folder.I was not able to connect to your FTP server! A problem was found. I will now clean up anything done so far...
The Auto-Installer did not work. (Please review the error(s) above. Maybe it's a problem you can fix?)
Any ideas? Thanks for the great product and support, by the way!

It looks like there is a problem with the PHP configuration of your web server. I can maybe try to see if I can find the exact problem, but first I recommend installation using the "manual method" here: http://www.snippetmaster.com/documentation/manual-install-instructions.htmlIf that doesn't work, let me know and I can try to diagnose the problem. From the errors you posted, I think your web server is a bit screwy, though.

Yup, the manual install method seems to have worked just fine! Kinda screwy about the autoinstaller... I agree there's probably something funky with the server config. Bleh, it's some kind of cheapo host, I think... who knows... thanks for the timely support, once again!
