I have bought the reseller pro version. And my client is having issues trying to edit the pages. When I test the editing of the pages in Internet Explorer it works fine. But when she tries it crashes explorer. Here is her email she sent me: When I get in and pull down a page, I am booted out with this message: "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. WE are sorry for the inconvenience....." Any ideas why it would crash her IE ? happens everytime she tries to edit a page she says.

I have seen this before where the user had a corrupt IE profile. The official MS answer is to create a new user (assuming Win2K or XP) and use that new user profile. Easier is to install a decent browser --- FireFox.....
IE7 was released today, and looks like being rolled out in next month's Windows update. I wonder how this will be affected by corrupt profiles, and it the problems will continue with IE7.

If you want to send me a link to the snippetmaster installation with a un/pw, I can login and test to see how it works for me. I have 5 different test machines with various versions of IE.. so I can try and see if any of them have a problem.
But.. as Kelvyn mentioned.. the problem is most often with a corrupted installation of IE.
Let me know.. (henri @ snippetmaster.com) Be sure to include a link to this thread so I know what the problem is.

I got the client to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 and it seemed to fix her problem with IE crashing.

Excellent! I haven't done a lot of testing with IE 7, so if she finds anything "odd", be sure to let me know.

Excellent! I haven't done a lot of testing with IE 7, so if she finds anything "odd", be sure to let me know. IE7 was officially released yesterday and can be downloaded from here - and will be rolled out in automatic Windows updates probably next month. SM works just fine in IE7 final - well, for me, anyway...
