I have had this happen after an edit with Opera9beta and IE7Beta2, but not with IE6 or FireFox1.5, so whatever is causing the error does seem to be browser dependent.

I've received a few reports of this bug now... but it does not seem to be consistant and I am never able to recreate it. If anyone is able to figure out a way to recreate the problem consistantly, please be sure to let me know!

Henri, I have now seen this error message each time I have entered a Pro licence code to upgrade a Lite version, but had forgotten about it until upgrading a Lite version today. It happens after the request to log out and attempting to do just that! This error seems to be browser independent, as this time it was with FireFox. The error message was displayed on the screen and also e-mailed to my error reporting address. Sorry, but the language you specified (<b>/var/www/html/editor/languages/.php</b>) does not exist or the file for this language is invalid or corrupted.
The program has been halted until this problem is fixed. Please provide a valid language file called <b>.php</b>. (There must be NO php syntax errors in this file.)
*** You can turn off email error reporting by changing the Email Errors To Admin? option in the General settings of the Admin area.

aha! That would make sense to me, actually.. because when the system is logging out, it removes the language information.. which would explain why no language file is being found.
Ok.. I'll play with this and see if I can figure out exactly what is wrong, and then fix it.
Thanks for the info!

I noticed this post was done in 2006 and the error is still going on. Has this ever been resolved?
