[-] Run-Time Loading Installation Instructions
« on: May 18, 2006, 10:59:58 AM »

I hate our webhost. Everything is always so difficult!

It would not autoinstall so I ran the script that checks to see if I need Ioncube or Zend. It said use Iconcube. Downloaded, unzipped, uploaded and ran the http://www.xxxxxxxx/snippetmaster/ioncube/ioncube-loader-helper.php?page=rtl-tester

Anyways got this error and don't know where to go from here.

Run-Time Loading Installation Instructions
Testing Server
Testing whether your system supports run-time loading...

Looking for Loader 'ioncube_loader_sun_4.4.so'

Extensions Dir: /usr/local/pkg/php-4.4.2/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429 (NOT FOUND)

Results
The directory set for the extension_dir entry in the php.ini file may not exist, and run time loading will not be possible.

Instructions
Please ask your hosting provider or system administrator to create the directory

/usr/local/pkg/php-4.4.2/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429

ensuring that it is accessible by the web server software. They do not need to restart the server. Then rerun this script. As an alternative, your host could install the Loader in the php.ini file.

Yes, the "Sun" operating system is known as "Sun Solaris".  It's not very common for web hosting.

If you're looking for excellent web hosting, you can check out www.etwebhosting.com, which is actually my own company.   Laughing  We have about 3000 customers, and specialize in high-reliability web hosting.  You'll find our pricing is not cheap (compared to low-budget hosts), because we actually provide super friendly and responsive service/support (try out our helpdesk at any time to test us out: http://helpdesk.etwebhosting.com), etc...

If you have any questions, just let me know.  I'm confident you'll never need another web host again.   Very Happy

(Plus, if you click the link at the top of every page on the snippetmaster.com website, you'll get a 5% discount and a free SnippetMaster PRO license.)

Let me know if you continue having problems with the Sun operating system setup, and I'll do my best to assist.
